About Us

Grace Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and part of the Tennessee Valley Presbytery (TVP).  We are presbyterian in our church government and reformed in our doctrine.

In August of 2002 a group of people from Jasper contacted Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church concerning the establishment of a PCA church in Marion County.  After much prayer and discussion with TVP, it was determined that a viable presbyterian and reformed church should be established in Jasper, TN.  The group met for its first worship service on November 3, 2002, in the Marion Flag Store.  Twenty people attended.  Almost 2 1/2 years later, on April 3, 2005, Grace Presbyterian Church (having elected Ruling Elders on March 20, 2005) became a particular church.
